Randy Wood, singer and drummer (Northern Cree)

Randy Wood, a founding member of the highly-respected Northern Cree Singers, is known throughout North America for his singing and snowmaking skills.  Randy’ intimate vocals, pulsating drumming and creative songs move the spirit and invite the listener to discover Plains Cree traditional music.

I met Randy in 1998 on the Powwow trail with the Martineau family:  he is the husband of Jetta (Martineau) Wood.  Jetta produced her husband’s most recent album.

Randy's latest album is called "The Gift of Life" and includes THE RUMBLE that is a nice example of Randy's talent.
